The Sunshine Blogger Award! (#1, and, well, #1.5!😂)

So yes I am confusing! Firstly, I was nominated by Jasmine at Bookworm. (That was nomination #1.) Secondly, I was scrolling through Hailey’s posts at Sunshine & Rain and she nominated anyone who wanted to do it, and her questions looked fun, so I decided to include that nomination with this one! (That’s the #1.5!)

Here are my answers to Jasmine’s questions!

1. What was your favorite toy as a young child? My sketchbook!
2. If your house was on fire, which three items would you save? My Bibles, journals (including sketch journals), and laptop.
3. How tall are you? I am 5’10”.
4. What are your biggest fears? That I’ll get struck by lightning in one of our famous storms, that summer camp and volleyball will never re-open, or that the Kingdom will come before I can get married!
5. Are you more introvert or extrovert? TOTALLY an extrovert!!
6. What was your first pet? A Japanese fighting fish. Or a chicken …
7. Who is your role model? The biblical Ruth. (okay, and Queen Esther …)
8. Who is your closest friend, and what do you love about them? (Oh dear!!) I have lots of close friends, so I think I’ll stick with my closest friend, my brother who’s just a year younger. I love that he is passionate about doing the right thing, whether its divvying up truck-driving time, or searching out the truth of a matter.
9. What is your favorite quote? It’s not the girl’s job to choose {a boyfriend}, its the girl’s job to be chosen. (I’ll probably have a new favorite next month! 😂)
10. Do you have a garden? Yep.
11. What makes you feel happy? When I accomplish something I’ve worked on for a long time.

1. Something on your Summer bucket list? Talk to people! Even if I’m never gonna see them again!
2. Your favorite thing from this week? Playing volleyball til the sun went down.
3. Top 3 favorite books? Bible, The Year of Living Biblically, anything Phil Callaway!
4. Do you have any role models that you look up to? The biblical Ruth.
5. One of your favorite things about God? He is always there to listen.
6. Something you like to think about or remind yourself of? How blessed I am!
7. Have you ever sat down to watch the sunset/sunrise? Nope. Another thing on my bucket list!
